Carlito's,

Checking my notes, I. don't have any other info on your coach.  But including your coach,  at least 12 coaches are still around from that Western Greyhound order of 125 buses.

4104-0129 is still alive and well as a converted coach. Has had the same.owner for the last 30 years. Still has the original Vickers power steering.

Do you have your list posted anywhere? I'm sure you mentioned it in an earlier post I just can't find it.

Carlito's,

List is not yet posted, have approximately 300-350 coaches on the list. My Excel file got a gliitch in it and.I am rebuilding it in Access. Coaches are tracked by Still a bus, conversion and scrapped in an attempt to track most of the 5,065 coaches originally made.

Soon as I get them together, the list will be posted online. I have 4 groups offering it an online home.
Info on list that will be available for viewing by public from list will be:
Year
serial number
original owner
original fleet number
current status - bus, converted or scrapped
date added to list
owner
location:  City, State/Province,  Country
Notes: example - mine has factory installed skylights

Looking forward to seeing the list once completed. Skylights! Wow, that's a cool feature!

The.skylights brighten up the coach something else. Basically the front half of the coach has them. It was an option ftom the factory.  Yosemite Park and Curry Company (my coach's original owner) ordered 4 coaches with them. Vermont Transit ordered 6 coaches with them. Don't know if there are any others that came with them. A lot of Scenicruisers came with that option too.

I am curious if your skylights are single pane glass, or thermopane? Skylights were standard on Scenics. From our research, it looks lile the first 500 Scenics had single pane glass thoughout, then the next batch had thermopane. Are your skylights slightly curved too? I wonder if they are the same as 4501.

If you know of the whereabouts of a PD4501 Scenicruiser - I would like to add the serial number to my registry of surviving Scenics.  www.tomsgarageonline.com

The glass follows the the curved roof line, so I am leaning toward the glass being curved. There are 3 panels. 1st one behind the driver and last one in the center.of the coach (above the kitchen).

Can you tell if they are single pane or dual? Thanks

Emailed you photos,  when I get home tonight, I will pull off the sun screens and check the ceiling.

Pulled the sun screens back and took a close look. Looks like a single pane of curved glass for each of the 3 skylights.
