Anyone have the part number for the struts/shocks that fit the mounts that Ed sells?

I bought the mounts about a year ago and lost(maybe havn't found) the part number and mounting instructions.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Cliff, can you tell me more about these struts?  And would the work on a PD-4501 Scenicruiser?
I am new to this forum, just bought the bus.
Thanks in advance!

Jack,

Ed makes a stainless hinge replacement and a gas strut mount for the GM's baggage doors.

The gas strut mount replaces the torsion bar connection.

In his kit you get the bottom mount and it matches up to where the torsion bar hooks up to on the door.

I need the stuts numbers to order them.   Ed did give it to me!  :-[  and Mike M. :-[

Just one more time Guys....I swear!

just a note.
don't ever brag on your bus, because pride come'th right before the fall.
i had a man in the bus measuring for fabric and commented on how good
the engine was running.  i made a comment that i may fall apart on the way
home , but is was a good one . well when i pulled out on the road i heard a
noise and it quite just that quick. a few miles later i noticed the temp gauge
rising. i knew from the past if this bus says hot it is hot. found a place to pull
off road and found the fan blade had come off the aux gear box , did not hurt any
thing. but the lesson is please don't brag . yet be thankfull of what we have.

Wow, that seems cheap enough! That is for the basement doors, correct? Just curious as the engine door struts sound pretty cool too.

Chaz,

Yeah, they are for the baggage doors.

My 4905 has the struts on the engine door too!

I am going to see if these will work for the engine door too as mine are getting weak!

If you want I can post pictures of the mounts on the engine door.

Cliff,
YEAH!!!!!  Pix would be great!!!!! By any chance, do you have s.s. hinges, also?? I'd love pix of them as I am in need of them on two bays. They are probably a little higher on my priority list. I'd like to see how they work and are attached compared to the rubber.
  Thanx a BUNCH!!!
