I sent the Country Coach to Phoenix for a windshield and gave the driver a credit card for fuel.I get alerts for purchases damn $710.00 for 148 gals of diesel is crazy. Then I think about Van with the Prevost with a 220 gal tank 200 gals would be almost a $1000.00,this game is getting to rich for me

Bidenomic's at work isn't it great. Time to vote his @$# out of office next election before we're all standing in soup lines and waiting for our one roll of toilet paper for the month. Unless your an illegal immigrant all is well.
Build back better not working we need to make American great again. Lets go Brandon!

I often have 1.00 discounts from the grocery store. Unfortunately the bus won't fit there. But I have cans...

Technically our main is 240gal, Aux tank is 75gallon and I do fill up every 500mi. At 6.5 mpg it is not getting much cheaper. Good to be parked up a bit.

I get the $1.00 discount sometimes, here it only on the 1st 35 gals though it helps because their fuel is not over priced like Pilot and Loves to begin with their regular price is cheaper that Love's when you the so called discounts cards at Love's and Pilot

Unfortunately I think it's just not bad enough yet. Remember how bad it had to get in New York before Rudy Jeuliani got voted in. He lost the first time around because people just hadn't had enough yet.
Some are called, some are sent, some just got up and went.

I know this isn't necessarily a fuel milage thread, but I posted once that I got 7.91 mpg when I went to Weiser Idaho. I was following a friend that drives like there's no tomorrow. The last trip we took was about 300 miles round trip and I got 8.6 mpg, and that included 4500 foot White Pass (WA). So, I'm planning on not fueling up when I bring my bus home until I get to the Yakama reservation (about 10 miles from my home) where the price is currently $4.15. I filled up there before I left. That would put me at about 875 miles round trip. I figure I will have just under a half tank left when I fill up again. My fuel gauge appears to work well and is currently (if I recall correctly) at about 3/4 tank.

We used TSD/Openroads fuel discount on this recent round trip to Nappanee from FL. 2300 miles total. Our fuel savings at the diesel big truck lanes was over 11% discount from pump prices. Saved over $160 total.

What was the price before the discount I never save any money with TSD card it took a bite out of the over inflated posted prices at truck lanes

Yes. 35 gallon maximum here as well. I buy so many groceries, I should apply for an exemption.

No Politics ok. If there is no change come the next election we will be talking about where we permanently parked are buses because we can't afford to drive them anymore. Can't sell them who is going to buy them?

Um, how big do you think the 'bus conversion nuts' demographic is?  We're not going to swing an election for local pet control officer, let alone anything national.  Save the political whinging about gas prices for other venues.
