It was 3 degrees in Ga this morning and they warned of intentional rolling blackouts that would be brief so I went to see if the bus barn was still warm. When I got there it was cool but ok. BUT the power was out. I thought, I bet it just went out and so did the house?
Got home and we were dark, Made the mistake of doing that with the cup of coffee I made just before I went to the barn. I told the Rita. She said "And you have COFFEE!!"

Still windy this morning, not good. May have to shovel snow, looks like my travel plans have changed again. So much for parking in the swivel chair all day. How is it that wives achieve God tier status? I still haven't figured that one out.

Looks like we lucked out here in western Az, yesterday we hit the 70*F mark with 18 inches of sunshine. Only complaints are that we are running out of ice cubes Stay warm y'all!

Hanging out in Brownville TX and experiencing a couple nights below freezing. Forgot to fill the water tank and ran out. The RV site's water tap was frozen up so had to take the heat gun to it to get it flowing again.

We only had a couple inches of snow the other night but have had a few days and nights of below zero temps and fifty below wind chill. Just been feeding the wood fired boiler out in the pole barn. Little better today wind is down and in the upper single digits. Its suppose to get above freezing next week. Everyone have a merry Christmas no matter your location and weather.

All the windows are out of the bus undergoing restoration and thankfully is in the heated bus barn. Yeah we're in Florida but the birdbath was froze solid this morning and for the next couple days. Merry Christmas to all.

Hey Fred we thought that was normal LOL. We haven't had water out of the ground faucet for three days. Drains don't drain and it is -25 today. Went to start the car and the battery was dead. Went to turn on the gas furnace in the Bus and the batteries for the house were to low for it to light and the electric heater is running at 80 degrees and it says inside temps 37 degrees. Glad we have 5 gallon blue bottles we fill up with water at managers house and then pour those into smaller bottles to use for stuff. Ah bus life eh. :^

Yes I hear you things do sort of pile up if you don't think ahead but hindsight is always 20/20...

And if I was Ted I would add it to the checklist...

If it gets any longer I will have to get two dowels and make it a scroll.....

One of these days they'll turn your phone into a scroll My theory is that's the reason we had scrolls in the first place, because ancient aliens used them, monkey see monkey do. So eventually we'll have those instead of tablets. Almost there already with foldable phones. How convenient would that be? Then Ted you can make your checklist as long as you need it to be and just {SCROLL!} down through it! Hah! Cool, yes?

Jim

I wouldn't be able to handle that. Once I got down a few lines I'd have to go to the beginning for review...
