So an 11R 24.5" tire isn't taller than a 22.5?. Thanks don! I'll see how close your number is when I measure

On whatever the stock tires are.

Scott the 12r22.5 and the 11r24.5 are basically the same height. Of course tire heights (diameter) can vary across different manufacturer of the same "size" but probably not more than a fraction of an inch.
Some are called, some are sent, some just got up and went.

Scott   Talk to RJ about the height of tires.  Look for the fewest rpm per mile.

I removed low profile Michelin tires and replaced with tall Hankook tires.  one of the best thing I have done to the drive able-ability

Hankook brand was choosen for me by Bernhardt Furniture.  They run them on all of their big black transfer trucks.

I have 11r 24.5 wheels but it was a big difference in the rpms of the engine going down the highway. with the different tires.

i only asked...because some bridges are 1 inch less than others :)

Donald   Us people with old gm's worry more about read end gearing and the rpm on our tires than the height of tunnels or bridges.

04's came with 12.00x 20's.....11r24.5's are the same diameter  rdw
