Started my bus this morning after being gone for three weeks and now she won't shut down, no air pressure and a massive oil leak

What is the bus?

I am guessing that there is an air powered shut down lever. The air system is probably frozen, and you will have to use a prybar to operate that valve manually.

Oil leak is probably from the oil cooler, on the side of your engine. Random guess, but also guessing it so cold where you are.

Yup, so it is cold today. Your air dryer probably froze, and it is not supplying air to your fuel shutoff. That is bad, because you could run it out of oil, and blow your engine up.

Look for the shutdown lever. I will look around for pics for you. You will have to use a prybar to shut it down.

Keep oil in that baby! Don't let it run dry because a low oil pressure fault will not shut it down!

I am not for sure, but I am thinking you could put a board over the air intake, and starve the engine off, with no adverse affects. Looking for a pic of the shutdown lever for you. q

Here is what one looks like on an 8V71. Might be similar to yours. http://mcibustalk.com/bbs/index.php?topic=298.0

If it is a mechanical engine, the shut down lever is on top of the governor, right beside the throttle lever, and you just give it a quarter turn.   There should also be a fuel tap located on the passenger side of the engine just above the fuel filters.  Or unscrew one of the fuel filters so it loses prime.  I'm probably late to this party...

Yup. Unscrewing the fuel filter would do it too.

I am north of KC on the KS side. Weren't you down towards Emporia?

Where is your oil leak coming from?

Not sure yet, but it appears to be coming from somewhere on the passenger side rear

Probably coming from the blower drive supply oil line the little 1/4 inch tube on the back of the blower and running to the front, the turbo supply line or the blower coupling only places it could be coming from on top
