You should think about starting your own thread in the Bus Project section. That way it is keep all in one place for us all to drool over.

Everything works perfect except I had only 3 batteries hooked up so we ran out of power for the furnace because it was really cold so it was kicking in like every 30 min. I'm adding 7 more batteries and 200W solar panels and hopefully that will be enough to run the house fridge and heat when needed over night.

Hello Everyone... Im a newbie to Bus Conversions and I just want to say that I will be soon a proud new owner of a PD 4501....I am picking her up on the 14th of April and if all gos well...and make it back to Florida from California 2537mi......Please if anyone has any words of wisdom what I should look out for or tips and advice... please let me know.... Will post pics as soon as I get it home... Please God bless my Scenicruiser!

Here is our first bus, 1964 GMC SDM 5302(serial # C050) Was converted to a RV in 1991 and full timed by them up until last week. Some renovations to do both inside and out, with interior taking the first priority. The PO's were full time chain smokers, so needless to say we have some yellowing to take care of...

The 6V71 and Spicer 4 speed were rebuilt 20,000 km ago, and new tires fitted shortly following the engine rebuild.This bus started life as a fishbowl, but unfortunately when the roof was raised they decided to change the front end to something more modern looking (I had a dream of stripping the paint and finding the fishbowl front end underneath....). Runs and drives well, no leaks, solid suspension, refurbishing it is our per-retirment project, then our turn to full time.
