Network Error (dns_server_failure)

Your request could not be processed because an error occurred contacting the DNS server.
The DNS server may be temporarily unavailable, or there could be a network problem.

For assistance, contact your network support team.

Hey Eric. Try this...

DNS errors can be caused by an ISP with a non updated DNS server. They can be caused by your local router, or your local computer. But they are not from the site.

There is a few trouble shooting things you can do to see where it is failing.

First go to a command line Start--Run-- Command when the black screen appears type

ipconfig /flushdns and press enter

that will clear all dns entries from your local machine (dont worry it needs clearing sometimes)

Then type ping eaglesinternational.net and see if you get an error or get a response. If you get an error call your ISP and have them check the DNS server entries.

Clifford, the ISP will always say it is not them and the server folks will always say they are not the problem.

How do you connect to the internet (DSL, Cable, Air Card, etc).  Maybe that will help.

I connect via satellite (HughesNet) and I get on at times and other times not.  Never have a problem with Verizon, AT&T or daughters wimax system.

OK, it was suggested that I could try a proxy server to see if that would do the job.  I did some searching and tried this site:

http://moonspeed.info/

You simply go to that sight and then enter the eaglesinternational.net address.  Bingo, I got on.  Since I was logging in from a different path, I had to enter my login information, but then I got right on.  Then went back to my standard path and I can't load the pages.

So, I guess I will have to use the proxy server method until this whole thing gets smoothed out.

Clifford, would you try that path and see what you get.

I don't know what to tell you, Clifford. The Eagle board and the RTS board are running the exact same software on the exact same machine. Everything is identical on them. If one is working, both are working... Plus, if anyone can see the site that means the site is working. The site is working perfectly for me. I am on the phone with Eric now and it is working for him. Like I said, I am more than willing to help people figure it out on an individual basis, but the problem is not with the site.

Someone who is not able to reach the Eagle board, do me a favor and click this link and let me know what it says.

I don't want anyone to think I am just trying to defend my work on the Eagle board and not listening to what ya'll are saying. The fact is that if anyone can reach the Eagle board, the board is working. I've been on and off the site all day with no problems. I have been on the phone with several people who are reaching it with no problems. The DNS error that Eric posted earlier is usually an individual or ISP problem. Has everyone that has had problems tried the correction I posted? There have been about 30 people on the board so far today. Our log files for the month are in line with usual - between 300-400 unique users per day.

I do want to help people but I need more than 'It's still not working'. It is working. I just need to figure out why you can't see it.
