Any of the Eagles owners here having trouble with the Eagles board I haven't been able to get on

Hi Clifford.  The Eagle board is working fine. 

However, anyone trying to access the board via HughesNet (satellite Internet) will most likely experience a problem.  The details of the rather weird situation (not at all consistent for a bunch of folks trying) is listed here:

This whole thing started about two-three weeks ago.  The host for the site was hit hard by spammers/hackers and had to build a new server.  Somehow in the process Hughes did not recognize the new server.  Most folks said to wait and all would be well.  Well, after at least two weeks, I had my VAR (MotoSat) file a formal complaint ticket with Hughes (not a customer friendly company) yesterday.  As of this morning, I am getting on with the satellite connection.

If you go to the above link, you will see that I could get on with the Verizon air card, but not the satellite.

BTW, this also affected the rts-bus.com site.

If you are using some other means of connecting, try a refresh and see if that works.

Now that I reflect on it, maybe one of the other moderators black flagged you as a trouble maker

When we were having all the problems, our website administrator (songman) put me on to a neat website that checks to see if a website is down:

Not sure that they would be of help if they connected via HughesNet

Not working for me Jim I turned the firewall off tried with both Firefox and Explorer,I have been on my best behavior there lately  you know I don't like ticking people off that would be out of character for me

Me too, I have problems at home and at my desk in the office, two different ISP's...

I can get on just fine useing my Verizon deal, but cant get on with the wifi  that the daughters got, the only web site i can't get on is Eagles.

Wow, seems like there could be an issue.

To help us track this down, would some of you mind trying to view the rts-bus.com site:

http://rts-bus.com/

They are on the same server. 

I can't visit either site right now with the HughesNet connection, but testing site noted in a previous post says they are both up.

 I have not had any trouble at all. The computer at home uses a verizon air card and at work we have some sort of system that serves the office park. That lets you know how much I know about this stuff. Any way I have never had a problem getting on the site.

Today I can access both with my Hughes connection Jim but je ne parle pas Eagle so I won't bother registering.
