Dolly Madison cinnamon coffeecake 2 packs are awesome! So are the Hostess ones, which appear to be DM repackaged. You have to try them.

I have a buddy Clifford that bought a Donut Cart when they retired and now up in Washington they pull it around to all the craft fairs etc. and make mini donuts and sell them in a bag of 10 for 5.00. He says he has about 1.00 pf product in each bag. :^

I remember the mini donut at our local Shipley's in Houston were 15 cents a dozen and the donut holes they would give you a sack for free ,regular size donuts were $.50 a dozen with free donut holes.Dave I have friend that does the fry bread at events he does good too, another one that does the overpriced kettle pop corn @ events for 5 bucks a bag it may cost more than that now

Anybody remember Spudnuts? They were made with potato flour. Loved the fresh made maple iced ones. Used to stop and get one on my paper route.

I would eat the Idaho Spud Bar when I moved to Idaho till I read the package there was no potatoes in the candy  it was just a regular candy bar corn syrup and all never bought another Idaho Spud bar, they did have some good skinless wieners made local though I liked they were not just all fat

Krispy Kreme original donuts. Preferably bought when the "Hot Now" sign is on. When I used to have to go down to Virginia a lot, I would stop at the store in Virginia Beach and buy 3 dozen. I would eat a dozen on the way home, Have a dozen for me and the wife, and give a dozen to my son.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Clifford, I have same problem with Vienna Sausage. I'm hoping they had production problems.

TOM

We would get the "shells" or the empty jelly filled donuts from Krispy Kreme. Always when the hot sign was on.

Ok I always have carried Vienna Sauage to snack on ( I know they are good for the diet) not long ago they were pack so tight they were hard to get out of the can. Then they starting getting smaller and easy to get from the can there was always 7 in the can.I bought a 12 pack open a can they leave the middle out now only 6 in the can, what is the world coming too, I was bored and nothing going on here in case you wonder WTH,I am going to take the case back to Sams,it pisses me off

Clifford must be a west coast thing (although I'm sure it will spread), but like Dave said my can I just opened still has 7!
(and it's out of a  case bought at Sam's too)

So was it just a malfunction in packing that day or were they actually trying to "shrinkflate"?

Just purchased the Hostess ones at Costco and they are great with a morning cup of caffeine!!!

I really like the Krusteaz cinnamon coffee cake mix. Outstanding, but you have to make it.
