Then they starting getting smaller and easy to get from the can there was always 7 in the can.I bought a 12 pack open a can they leave the middle out now only 6 in the can, what is the world coming too, I was bored and nothing going on here in case you wonder WTH,I am going to take the case back to Sams,it pisses me off

Its so common now they've even got a word for it - shrinkflation.

Smaller package - same price. Potato chips, soft drinks, bacon, whatever.  Its still a dozen eggs and a gallon of milk but its probably only a matter of time there too.

How about tuna?
Following the tuna can timeline, more than 10 years ago, it came in seven-ounce cans, then were diminished to 6 ½ ounces, then 6 1/8, and now a flat five.

Here is an interesting read:

When I was a kid, my mom would buy my older brother cans of Vienna Sausages. She would buy me a jar of hot pickled Sausages.

I never understood how people could eat Vienna Sausages. It's like meat paste in the shape of a tube.

I'm sure you are a wonderful person. But you did leave room to make us question...

I got shivers remembering my brother eating those things.

I never cared for the smell when you open the can of them and I would pour out the juice then fill with water to rinse them so I didn't have to smell it but eat the heck out of those. Also I sometimes put hot sauce in them and then eat them right out of the can. But then we also like Spam fried sandwiches. :^Peanutbutter and Banana sandwiches too.

Jack I like those too. Teaworst also.

You haven't lived until you try a Braunschweiger, cheddar cheese and mustard sandwich. I like it best with a soft wheat bread. It is a genuine taste sensation.

I saw it on the Internet. It MUST be true...

Worst sandwich I have ever eaten or tried to eat was in south Louisiana and that was a hog head cheese, no type bread would help it, I never made that mistake again

That's funny you bring that up. Yesterday, literally I was mentioning liverwurst and "brats". It appears they are different things. You seem to be an afficianado - I'm sure out here west I'd have to mail order the good stuff. Maybe brats seem more common here. I had some yesterday and they were great. I'm getting tired of all the west coast safe to eat kinds. lol

The German communities and towns in Texas have some good worst and sausages. I start pigging out when I reach Junction Texas + the good BBQ starts at Junction
