January report from the SUNY Rockefeller Institute of Government found that just eight states gave more to the federal government in 2018 than they received in federal spending: New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Colorado, Minnesota, Utah and Nebraska. Over the past four years, New York contributed $116.2 billion more to the federal government than it got back in federal spending.

The remaining 42 states received more than they contributed, with Virginia, Maryland, Kentucky, Alabama and Ohio leading.

Lyme disease creates long term issues in some also. One problem is as we age, we come down with issues that may or may not be related to these illnesses. The lawyers will help sort it all out.🙄

A friend of mine has Lyme disease that was not properly diagnosed for at least a decade.  He is partially disabled due to it.  He had a good job as an electrician he could no longer do.  It has been a good 20 years now and it still affects him.

Only if you never watch or listen to the news. Our Prime Minister actually said that the government was borrowing money and giving it to Canadians so that those same Canadians wouldn't have to borrow the money. You can't make this stuff up.

My great grandchildren will be paying off this clown's borrowing binge. By the time the border opens again it will take a wheelbarrow of Canuck bux to buy one greenback.

Don't worry - we're all in about the same situation borrowing with no end to try and dig out of this. My guess is all currencies will fall or rise about the same.

I don't  know about that. Were blowing through money just as fast. I fact, much of the world is doing the same so if everyone triples or more their debt..

1964 I made 1.25$ per hr.  19Cent gas.. 39 cent milk. new car or truck 1400$$ Made close to 35$ plus benefits  when I retired in 2008. Gas was near $4 and new Car/truck were in 40,000 range. When it comes down to it did I really gain anything?
