I thought thread drift was when the previous person cross threaded a bolt into in aluminum and when you finally get it out there has been thread drift.

Could be but they don't get much snow in Florida let alone drifts.
Did Clint Eastwood have something to do with drifting?

I think in engineering a "drift" is a tapered tool that you drive into a hole in order to enlarge it. Thread drift must be then tapping a thread into that enlarged hole I guess..

I'm glad you broached that subject.   It's not exactly a do-or-die matter, but it can be filed away for future reference.   You know the drill?   (I could write reams on this.)

But is it a good drift if we don't get into Delo vs. Rotella SAE40 and their relationship to 15W-40????  I have some popcorn that's getting old and I need to pop it soon.  If we're going to drift, let's REALLY drift!

No, no, no.  You should never, never, ever buy any Korean or Chinese tires -- except those that the the best and cheapest, of course!

Are 21 year old tires still good if there are any tread left and you only see a few cords on the top. :o

If you fill your tires with propane instead of nitrogen, will that make it a hot wheels bus...

This talk about tires makes me wonder which coolant I should use in my radiators. Don't want silicate dropout. Could cause a tire blowout.

There's a rift in your drift for ya.
