Thread Drift

I am starting this as a new thread to avoid extreme thread drift.  I do not think that a drifting thread is necessarily a bad thing.  There have been many times when I have skipped reading a topic because I did not find it applicable to my needs.  However, when I see that that same thread seems to go on longer than it should, I take a look at it.  Many times, after the initial question is dealt with, these threads drift a bit into all sorts of interesting areas.  So I believe that a little drift not only can be a good thing, but adds to the depth of the community (dare I use the word "organic" here?).

I too think it is good the problem is though the search function here is not that great anyways and it screws with a person asking a specific question but it's there just takes a more searching

It's like drifting around corners in your bus, but doesn't require ice, like the bus does.

I think in engineering a "drift" is a tapered tool that you drive into a hole in order to enlarge it. Thread drift must be then tapping a thread into that enlarged hole I guess..

Its ok by me. Many times these post get really bogged down like compost, so in need of a flip or stir.
As we all know sometimes there can be a wiff! Of somethin and other times the stir just drifts away.

Well, sure. It's a time proven flavor in oil. I usually cook one side of the fish and flip it and then cook the other side because I don't like deep frying.

But I really think it would be neat if FORD reintroduced the FLATHEAD but add ECOBOOST.
But honestly, I think MAXWELLHOUSE and FOLGERS are good.
