I just spent a couple of days in Tyler, TX, working with my father to get #3354 back on the road.  The interior was fully converted to an RV sometime in the early 80s, and was used by my family for vacations throughout the 80s and 90s.

It has been off the road for the past six years, but it was working fine when it was parked.  Right now it is waiting for a mechanic to deal with a stuck injector (and hopefully replace the rack with a breakway model, if we can find one).  Once he has given the whole thing a thorough inspection, the plan is to move it to Northern California.

Marcus,

What's the destination in Northern California?

I'm hoping to find somewhere in the East Bay to park it.. I live in Berkeley but it's going to be impractical to keep it in the driveway.  Initially I'm going to see if I can leave it at NIMBY for a couple of months, but that will only work as long as I am actively working on it.

Marcus,

I know of a 4104 owner in the bay area. He keeps his coach at Ted Campbell's shop in Williams, CA.
Its about 90 minutes to 2 hours north of you.

Marcus,

Have a fellow busnut and 4104 owner in Antioch checking into optional locations if Berkley put up a stink about your coach.

Also check your messages, sent you something.

May have a couple of more for you if you don't have them already......229 and 2499 are at US Coach in New Jersey being scrapped out.
Used to own a 1968 MCI 5A and a 1977 5C.

Ed Hackenbruch

Hmmmm, it might be 4229 instead of 229.  Luke's handwriting is a little hard to read.
Used to own a 1968 MCI 5A and a 1977 5C.

Thanks Ed,

Did not have those numbers. Will add them to the scrapped list and takenthem off the looking for list. Which reminds me, got to contact Luke about some parts.

May has been a very busy month for both me and the list. For me the end of the school year (May 29th)
meant a lot of field trips to Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm = overtime.

For the list, I am still sorting out the info.
At least 2 buses on the list have changed owners.
About 4 or 6 new buses to add to the list.
When someone calls me on the phone about my ad in BCM, I dont always have my list hand and jot info on that scratch piece of paper......

Aiming for an update this week.
