OK set a time to meet the man who owns the 76 MC8 on Fri. night. So far so good. Sat. about 30min. before my wife and I are going to leave for the 2 hour drive the owner calls and says that the bus is now in a different town and the add on the web site has the price wrong. That he wants more then 5500 for the bus. OK red flag right, so when ask how much he was asking could not get a straight answer. Red flag again, Told him I would still like to see the bus. I don't get many chances to see buses here in Idaho. This is the only one I know of in the state that is for sale. He give me the direction to the bus. We drive out there and when we get there he is siting in the drivers seat with no other cars around. OK so he drove the bus to the truck stop so we could check it out cool. No he is living in the bus. Before we can pull up and say Hi the man jumps out and starts yelling at us to get the he@# out of there. When I told him I was the one he talked to on the phone. He said I don't give a f*#@ who you are this is my place and we better leave. So we left. First time to check out a bus for sale not so good. It can only get better. LOL I well just have to Waite for the busnusa rally in June to check some out. Hope to meet some of you there.

i have a tmc Model 8 that has a 4 digit serial # which i was told they are  basically the same as a mci only they sere  built in roswell , nm.

Artglass The bus is a TMC with a 6v-92T. From what I saw from the outside it has potential. I thank I will let it sit for awhile. Even at 5000 there are so many out there that are converted going for 15000. Doing all the conversion work myself would cost more. Might not be done right but it would be done my way and I would know the bus better. I need to take my time read and learn. This is a great place for that.
Thanks kevin
