last week I had some extensive dental work done, and was sitting in the dentists chair for 5 hours.  Before I got seated, I was telling them about my bus and some of the places we go in it.

So for the entire time I was sitting there, with my mouth otherwise indisposed, several of the hygenists and assistants were talking gayly and freely about how nice it was I had that Winnebago and where was I going next in my Winnebago.  Arrgh

I couldn't say a thing, and there wan't anything close enough to hit them with....

Travel is more than the seeing of sights, it is a change that goes on, deep  and permanent, in the ideas of living.

A similar thing for a Land Rover enthusiast is for someone to innocently refer to their 'jeep' without realising the offence and aggravation it causes.

A shameless plug for my business - visit www.magazineexchange.co.uk for back issue magazines - thousands of titles covering cars, motorbikes, aircraft, railways, boats, modelling etc. You'll find lots of interest, although not much covering American buses sadly.
