I about to pull the trigger on a Thetford Aqua Magic V RV Trailer Toilet w/ Foot Flush and a Shurflo Extreme Smart Sensor 5.7 GPM Freshwater Pump.  Any last minute opinions before I let it rip?

You haven't stated as to why your changing, bad pump or toilet? Want something better?

No experience with the pump. I do have the Tetford aqua magic style plus, with china bowl. I had a plastic bowl in my RV and china in the bus. If you are going to full time or use bus alot the china is much eaiser to keep clean, for occasional use the plastic is OK.

I'm not changing anything.  I have just reached this point in the conversion.

Any opinions on the Aqua Magic II?  I found one for $150

Buddy, I don't know about the Tetford but I replace my water pumps with the smart sensor pumps and love them

I have a Shurflo Extreme Smart Sensor 5.7 GPM Freshwater Pump and we love it, very quite.

The cost of porcelain is not really that much more than plastic.  I, who am extremely cheap, can not see any reason to buy plastic.  Personally, I prefer the design of the Sealand but don't think that it really matters.

I bought the Flojet Sensor VSD pump primarily because they run on any voltage from 12 to 24 volts.  They are a constant pressure pump like the Shurflo Extreme Smart Sensor.  They sell both 4.5 and 3.7 GPM models of the pump.  I bought the 3.7 GPM so I don't use water as fast when boondocking.

I had a Sealand, it was a good toilet. Now I have the Style Plus and like it better. Anything is better than the plastic!!!!

Brandon,

I have the Sealand and it works fine, either one is a good choice.

That pump is the first class way to go.....waiting for my old one to die... :'(

I bought an Aqua Magic initially, but I  decided I was not comfortable on it, and some of my family didn't thing it would work for them, as they are fairly large. So I sold it to some friends who are smaller people than we are. I think they are happy with it. I ended up buying a Microphor. Much more money, but I don't regret it.

No experience with that pump. I have an Aquatek which I couldn't be more pleased with.
