Stopped by there last week on our way up north and talked to them about the driver's side/toll window which was leaking air as we go down the road. Don't know how old it is as the po put it in before we got the bus, however 4 years ago i had them replace 6 windows. So anyway, they showed me what they used, how to do it and the type of tool to use and gave me enough window fuzz to do the window. I talked to them for at least 20 minutes if not more and when i asked how much for the fuzz they said no charge. They know the meaning of customer service.!!!!  Good folks and great product. ;D

Speaking off.......has anyone persoanlly installed the Penn windows in the OEM frames. I am particulalrly interested in the MC-8 but pretty sure the MC-9 frames have the same install..( need to cut the inner flange)

Yes I did.
MC-9, Its really the outer flange.
the oem glass goes in from the inside up agaisnt the flange then the rubber holds the glass.
For the Penn window you cut off that flange or glass stop and install the window from outside.
I'll look to see if I have pictures.

I also installed 7 side dual pane and a drivers Penn windows in my MC9.  One of the best mods.  One of the most expensive too.
As Ed sez, 1/2" of the inner frame must be sawed out all the way around so that the Penn window assembly will drop into the old window frame.  And the handle rivets must be ground off and the handles removed.
Took me about 40 minutes to do one window.
Once installed, the emergency escape window function will still work. If you want.
The windows are directional, so order the correct number for each side.  Their order form is about fool-proof.  They know their business.
The crate with 7 windows weighed 300 lbs or so.  Be ready for that.  Mine were crated up nicely.   I've heard of some windows broken during shipping.
The windows work great.
The Penn windows and Dometic heat pumps have been our top conversion items.

a year after they did my windows (8 sections of 2 ) I stopped by and I had several torn screens.  They replaced them for free!  I was and continue to be very happy with their product and their service.

I guess if you live close enough that you could stop by that's cool, but when I installed all my windows (12) all the handles fell off.
A whole lot of phone calls and either fix them myself or stop by and they will (they are pretty far from NJ).
At that time they didn't offer a window for the door on the 9, (4 years ago) I just bought one from them and installed it, and I will say the quality is not as good as the older ones.

And yes when the truck delivered them and only my wife was home, SHE had to uncrate them, unload them and carry them up the driveway by herself.
