This morning we left Arcadia Flordia after spending an awesome winter among busnut friends, I felt bad as we watched the town disappearing in the mirror, but now we're at the E.G.Simmons park in Ruskin just south of tampa visiting with Kwajidiver and Heyoung, we'll be here at this park for a couple of days, it's really nice here on Tampa Bay and the people here are great. Slowly the trek north is started, my daughter says spring in is full bloom up north with the snow down to the 3ft mark in my yard, she's really eager to see us and we're looking forward to enjoying a few days with the grandkids before we go off in search of another adventure.  I'm so glad we decided to fulltime, we've met so many great people and seen so many things that I only read about before, saw a couple of really interesting snakes dead on the road and I think I saw my first alligator today, saw something that looked like a bumpy log with a snout in the water of a small pond as we drove by.  Also saw a wild pig dead on the road a few days ago, I wonder if anyone has compiled a road kill handbook we could carry with us.  More to come as the adventure continues.

We're at the E.G. Simmons county park in Ruskin now, we pulled into here yesterday and visited with Kwajidiver and heyoung, wonderful people.  I got the biggest kick out of watching the fish jump in the channel, bill said they were mullets and they would launch themselves completely out of the water and and back into the water several feet beyond.  Really cool to watch.  Bill and Heyoung headed home this afternoon.  With a bunch of sites opening up we wandered around the park and found another site closer to the beach and grabbed it for 3 days, spent a bunch of time on the beach today, really nice, on Tampa Bay, you can look out over the water and see Tampa's skyline on the right and St Petes skyline on the left with a lot of salt water out in front, this park is a gem at only 10 bucks a night for a site with water and 30 amp power.  My god, I sure do like Florida lol.  Even got to see a really bumpy log with a snout on the way over, one guy said it was an alligator, first one for me, life is good lol.  Libby found a bunch of horseshoe crab shells, one is almost 8 inches across, I told libby I was going to tell everyone she has crabs, she said I better not so I told her I wouldn't so I'm not going to say anything about them. lol.

Count your blessings, $10 for a spot in Florida. I need to stay in Port Charlotte for 2 months while Josephine goes to school, the Encore park is $625 month plus electric!!!! Now that is for the PWT (poor white trash) part of the park. The nice section is $825 month, plus electric of course. This is nowhere near a beach, ocean, bay, gulf etc.  If I was going to stay for a year, I could rent a house for less.
Remember, even at a Mensa convention someone is the dumbest person in the room!
