Saw this on ebay. 130196540453

Looks like a lot of work, but it sure looks cool.

Cool bus, but its sure does look tired!  In fact it made me tired to look at it.  scary, the amount of work and $ it needs.

Actually looks pretty straight.  But it is a 55 year old bus!  And doesn't look like it has power steering (didn't see the pump on the back of the engine).  I have never felt restricted from using a transit bus-I have everything I need in the bus plus the under storage isn't even close to being full.  You can get a used transit of the '80-'90 vintage for around $5,000.  Course it isn't a 4104.  Good Luck, TomC

There's a very cool old bus on UK eBay at the moment too - item No. 170191423522:

In it's present state it could be the central character in a Stephen King novel, but with a ton of work and some modern mechanicals it would be cooler than a 2008 Newell or Custom Coach. Strangely enough it is in the same small town in Devon where my coach came from

A shameless plug for my business - visit www.magazineexchange.co.uk for back issue magazines - thousands of titles covering cars, motorbikes, aircraft, railways, boats, modelling etc. You'll find lots of interest, although not much covering American buses sadly.
