Anyone coming out West from Savannah?

I am looking for help on getting a round shower kit from Savannah to Sacramento. Anyone know a cross country hauler that would like to earn a few extra dollars? The unit weighs 80lbs and is in a single box.

I've used uship successfully on a number of occasions. It's sort of like the commercials where lenders compete for your loan business. You can list your load and put in the price you would like to pay, or just let different transporters tell you their best price.

I was trying to have my 34 Ford brought out from GA and all the quotes I was getting were $2500+. I listed it on uship and a guy contacted me who was in Atlanta and if he could pick it up that morning, he would bring it for $800. He was heading to L.A. anyway and had an empty spot. He called me daily with progress reports and landed the car right in my garage flawlessly.

It's worth a try.

I appreciate the input, I have listed my need on uship and hope to get a taker soon.

I will keep people posted as this might become a good way to ship stuff across the country.
