Gulfport, Madison, Tampa

On the Road Again,,,,and it feels great.  Departed Gulfport, Ms yesterday about 3ish.  Did a overnight in Destin, Florida.  That town is not very RV friendly, it would seem.  Every big parking lot had "No Overnight Parking" signs.  Walmart, had a sign on every pole.

Just turned off I-10 in Madison, heading to Fred's, going to try and paint the bus, it the weather let's us.  If not, then on to Tampa tomorrow or the next day.

Bus is running great, transmission, no problem. Believe I need a little air in the back left tire.  Hummmm, maybe a bigger engine.  Going up a long climb, following a Walmart truck,,,,, a Prevost, flew by us.  I looked at my tack to make sure the motor was still running.

Fred, be there is a few minutes.

Are you in that big of a hurry to pay for a new engine?  Maybe do what I did and turbocharge with air to air intercooling makes a BIG difference.  Good Luck, TomC

Bill, congrats on getting that PITA problem fixed!  You got game dude! 
Did you finally lose the "21" code?
I printed off all of Sammy's schematics for future ref.  I learned a lot from your experience.
Post some pics of the bus painting process.   
Not sure about Fred's weather, but ours has gone to H again...way too cold!!
Sure love to meet ya'll down at "Jacks Bus'n Retirement Village" ...but to poor to retire! 
Could retire...couldn't retire and buy diesel fuel!

Friday 1300hrs,,, ON THE ROAD AGAIN!!!!

To cold to paint, Fred help me with a couple small things, that I wanted to modifiy. We also added a small vent for the genset, that is located in my middle bay.  Will have to come back up this way in two or three months for the paint job.

I love picking Freds brain, it's like a class room when I visit.

Anyway, I headed East on I-10 to Lake City then South on I-75.   Won't get down to Jack's this week.  Maybe soon.

BillVille, has landed in Tampa Bay, Sun City Center, for those that know the area.  Thus endeds my life as a fulltimeer, (unless Hyeyong kicks me out).  I've been living in it for 15 months.    Been to Atlanta, lived in Moblie, Little Rock, Phoenix, Panamana City, Fl and Gulfport, Ms.  If feels great to be home!   

Now I can use the coach on weekends for FUN! 

The bus ran GREAT the 600 miles from Gulfport to Sun City.
