Wow!!! all I can say is this guy know how to show off a bus. This is how you wish most would  display their adds with lots of pictures and the video's were great. It's the best add I ever come across, this guy get my atta boy of the year award for presentation.

Talk about advertising...

There are glaring errors in that ad. Did anyone else see them?
The giveaway is also in the presentation text ( Info )...

Engine Size, Oil Change 15w/40, Appliances ( Rv Rated? )
Did MCI actually put a 5-speed in those? ODD...

If it was a PRO conversion.. What's wrong with that picture/Idea?

The devil is in the details....

Not that there is anything wrong with that bus...

They also list the restroom water fill as the diesel fuel tank fill location.  Jack

I can't help but wonder just how much the ad costs.  All those pictures would break most peoples banks.  Guess that's the bookkeeper in me. LOL

Hi yo silver

Yeah, in reading the ad the other day, I had seen the same errors, and noticed that altho the bus might be typical, there is a big dose of hype in the ad.  It's consistent with the todays media, right?  Sharp eyes, Beatenbo.  Good to hear from ya!

It sure has one fine looking "8V 6-71"

I went back and looked again...

PRO conversion? HUH? I don't think so...

They left the original Heat/A-C ducts in place and just built around
them. The A/C compressor is gone however.

It is quite obvious that the people doing the write-up have few if any clues about what stuff is or where it is on this coach.

The ad states a Tennessee title, The dealer is in Florida and is a used car dealer. I understand the "consignment" part.

The interior is carpeted, walls, ceiling and even above the show stall which looks moldy as well. The inside of the cabinets are carpeted and show some serious dirt traces ( or mold? )...

I saw the picture of the Dash area and it does look as if there is a 5-speed tranny because the tag shows 6-selections.

The Data Tag was moved from above the drivers position to down into the step well. I wonder if the serials in the radiator bay and drivers access bay area all match?

The ad says 8 mpg... But wait, Then 7 mpg... I would be foolish to believe that is factual.. Just not right numbers.. Maybe 5.5 to 6.5 mpg but that can be the type of driver. I run flat-out myself so wouldn't bet on better than 5.5 on a good day..

They say 144 gallons... Hmmmm... ( Over 1,000 mile range? ) Not likely.. Just a fantasy speculation.. Maybe 600 to 700 miles if you are careful...without the generator running.

Way too much HYPE and Speculation with this one..

Still.. Basically if you know what you are looking at even the buy it now price is pretty much in line for what you get.. Then the fun starts ripping all the garbage out and doing it the right way. I guess it would do as a first bus if it is 50% of what they present for the money...$35k .. You could get on the road with only minor updates....

Just a note, I bought a 1983 MCI for a church and delivered to them and it was a 5 speed. 2 buses ago I had a 1980 MC9 that was a 4 speed with neutral to 2nd with a reverse solenoid. I think they went to the 5 speed about 92 or 93. One of the original pics showed ad bus came from C & H. They are a strong little charter co in Macon, GA. I have bought parts from them before and they have a nice operation and buy their coaches new.

Beatenbo

Just went back and looked, not the same C & H.  Who would change all the rub rail or doors ???????

DrivingMissLazy

Conversion by Heartland Coach in Arcadia. Maybe Jack knows somebody there.

Also states 10 kw genset but later states 15 kw at 1500 rpm. That is 50 hertz output instead of 60 hertz.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, a good Reisling in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming:  WOO HOO, what a ride

I think I saw that on Heartlands site three years ago.

may not be theirs but bought there.

alot of hack home conversion type stuff going on with this one.

but at 35k you could not duplicate it.

If you had questions about this coach, call Tom at Heartland.  Real nice helpful guy.  He loan me a shift pad to help with my tranny problem.

34.5k is a little cheap, wouldn't you say?????????
