Right now I have the Harvest Gold 1970's RV toilet, I would like to upgrade to a better one. Just a straight drop into the tank one. I was looking at the china bowl kind. Are these pretty decent?

If you have one of these or somthing better installed, please advise.

Hi Phil...

I went for the "China" one...

Don't want to go into any great detail here except to say I didn't want to sit down on those plastic RV things...
If you know what I mean...  ::)

I have other photos of the head finished and I will try and find then and post them here for you...

Finished resessed cabinet above the head.

Corner wash basin with corner cabinet above...

Again, all walls are done in T&G western red cedar

Taking photos in a bathroom is hard to do...  ???

Phil,

I had the plastic job in my class C. :-[

The Sealand china one I have now is 100% nicer. ;D

Thanks for the pics and replies. You guys did a nice job on those lavs. Now I guess I'll redo the whole bathroom after this weekend.  I was thinking on a much simpler china toilet but the magnum opus appears to be the better choice. I have 2 boys, 4 and 7, a regulated flush would save untold amounts of water.

Hi Phil,

The biggist reason I choose the magnum Opus is because it's elongated!! It has a bigger hole than the one in my house.

Than again, I'm a big guy too!

For $1300, this toilet better use a few drops of water and wipe my rear when I'm done.  This might be a good investment for a full timer who boondocks all the time, but I'll stick with a less expensive model for my use.

My toilet at home is elongated, but it was less than $50 extra.  I would never go back to a standard toilet at home.

Is the Maagnum Opus the only model with the elongated hole? Is it available anywhere for less than the list price.

I'm glad I posted, I never even thought about the shape.

Brian, Phil,

If you don't like the 1300.00 price than contact me and I'll tell you how you can get it for way less
