Busch Gardens/Tampa campground?

 I'm looking for a campground within 30/40 minutes of Busch Gardens. I really don't want a RV "Resort" with all the amenitys, just a campground to park the bus.

Try Fort Desoto it is a county campground about 40 to 45 minaway we stayed ther this march and loved it you will need reservations. It is all freeway so it is not a bad drive.  Have fun

Ft Desoto is a great place. However, I'd say its over an hour away. And unless they've recently changed the rules, reservations have to be made in person (not by a friend or relative) and no more than 30 days in advance.

Another place to stay would be Lazy Days on I-4 first exit east of I-75. Probably a 15-20 minute drive away.
