Ok Gary and All, here you go. Nothing fancy and all that stuff! Could never compete with Gary anyway.  ;)

Click the link below to view the first photo album of the Texas Bus Roundup 2007. More albums will be uploaded later. Enjoy the photos as much as we enjoyed the fun we had.
Many comments that I heard was that it was great to not have a structured rally that anyone could visit one another at anytime. Many of us broke out into groups to view coaches, discuss fun projects, maintenance issues and getting to know one another. The only time frame we tried to stick to was the evening meals, and they were fantastic.

Happy Trails,

Paul

Paul,
Thanks for sharing the personal photos of those attending your TBR, Now I know the faces of those that attended.  You did a good, good job and we hope you have more to show later on.  Take your time, this takes a lot of time when I do it, normally 3 X 12 -14hr days and then I don't want to see a picture for days and most of the time several hundred photos.  Thanks again and be sure to contact me if you travel up this neck of the woods.

Dear Paul, Darrin, Sonny, Mike and Clifford;

On behalf of (and without the consent of) all the Eagle-free enthusiasts in attendance at your Eagle Rally,  please allow me to thank you for inclusion on the short-list of the off-brand interlopers and misfits you invited.

Throughout the event, I wondered why, but finally shrugged and chalked it up to some sort of equal opportunity / affirmative action / nondiscrimination program that was perhaps encouraged by your legal counsel. At any rate, regardless of the source of the goodwill, thank you again.

All in good jest, gang. Many thanks for the opportunity to make your acquaintance and looking forward to many more.

All the best,
Chuck

Chuck,

I'm glad you were able to make it to TBR 2007!  It was a pleasure to meet you and see all the neat ideas you are "beta testing" in your bus.

You are correct...our legal counsel, Dewey, Cheatem & Howe, advised we allow MCI's. ;D ;D  Seriously the TBR was open to any & all bus conversions (no matter what release or revision ;)).  I think we had a real nice cross section of buses to view & discuss....Eagle, MCI, GMC & Flxible.  I know the VanHool charter bus that stopped by with that sightseeing group just wanted to become a Bus Conversion. :D  I think we could have tag-teamed and had the interior stripped before they got back from their nature walk. ::) :o ;D  Oh well, another opportunity missed!

Take care & we'll see ya on down the road! 8)

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, a good Reisling in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming:  WOO HOO, what a ride

Christyhicks

Yeah, but I heard that the previous owner really left it in a mess and they sure had a lot of cleaning before they'd even consider sleeping in it!  LOL :D :D :D

If chased by a bear, you don't need to run faster than the bear, just faster than your companion!

ChuckMC9

I'd consider sleeping in it.

...but those other bums would have to vacate first. ;) (oh man, I swore I would never use smileys again. dang.)

...and Richard, it's about time I saw the famed myrtlewood. I bow to your skill, Sir.

Wish I could take credit for the interior, but that was the very first Marathon, I believe. A crew of guys in Booth? Harbor did it for a timberman who had collected the wood for several years.

Gee, I find it hard to believe that anyone would do such a thing. LOL
