does the jake for the 8V71 also fit the 8V92?  Jerry

Hi guy, the answer is yes, there is another part or two that goes on the 92.  Try this Detroit forum, I saw some post back there myself recently.

Well it would be a start and maybe I can find enough peices to to make it work. Thanks I thought they were about the same. I just will have to ask a DD mech what all I need to complete the whole thing. Jerry

The two are the same-just need the valve bridge for a 92 series.  Good Luck, TomC

My understasnding is that the same Jake fits both 71 & 92 series but each series requires a valve bridge. The bridges are different for the 71 or 92 series.  Jack

Well the guy has it for sale for $600. but if that is the case I wouldn't be able to use it as the valve bridge for the 92 would be as hard to find as the rest of the jakes. Jerry
