New MCI-9 owner.

I finally was able to purchase a MCI-9 1979 Coach,  it came with a 7500watt Generator, Freshwater and greywater tanks,  large LP Tank.  Bathroom partial furnished (shower and sink) and bedroom partially completed.  Everything in this coach works from all the gauges to the two rooftop AC units.  I have to finish the plumbing and the wiring, the wiring not a problem I am an electrician, but the plumbing,  I am not sure about everything I need to purchase for dumping the black/gray water tank.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  I have thought about putting on-demand water-heaters for each of the three plumbing fixtures.

RV places will have most of the sewer fittings you need,  search archives  and ask more detailed questions,  may help on iterations,

Your coach sounds similar to mine when I bought it, the good thing is that you will be using it much sooner.
Now, unless you are in a witness protection program and using your real name, consider putting your location in your profile or under your name so everyone knows where you are from, ya never know there could be a busnut close by that could help with ideas.

You do not need to put your eaxact address, but it would be nice if everyone would at least put the general area such as Southwest Florida. Then if a local busnut wants to come visit or help you, they can PM you. You then have the option of giving your exact address or not. Most busnuts are willing to drive a couple hours just to see anoither busnuts Pride & Joy or help with a project.  Jack

Heck, if you're an electrician, making electrons flow isn't that much different than making water flow.  Just that drainage runs with gravity.  Good Luck, TomC

Welcome to the club, and good luck with the new bus.   I would recommend, taking a look at the axles, and the rear end. If nothing else change, or have change, the rear end lube, catch some of the old lube in a glass jar, makes it easy to look for metal.

Welcome to the asylum.!!!! electric and water are kinda the same except instead of a switch or circut breaker you use a slide valve
If you are really cluless, befor doing anything try to find a bus rally in your area, visit another bus nut or at the bare minimum go to an RV dealer and see what people are doing. There are lots of options on doing things. Do you need heated, insulated holding tanks? Drains on both sides the bus? Macerator pump. The list is endless.

One piece of info. You will need to purchase the 1979 MC8 maintenence manual for the electrical schematics for your bus. The regular MC9 manual is from a later model and will confuse you when chasing circuits through the rear junction box.
