Location of MCI data plate

OK Guys, I've done the search thing and didn't find what I was looking for, so point me in the right direction, if you will.  I'm SERIOUSLY looking at an MC8, and I'm told the VIN is four digits.  I have taken photos of data plates on two buses I looked at, but can't remember exactly where the plates were located on the bus.  I do recall they were somewhere near the right front somewhere.  I want to ask the seller to give me the VIN so I can arrange insurance and licensing if I buy it.  I was going to check it out (again) today, but the seller had a family emergency and had to postpone, so it looks as if it will be in a couple of weeks.  I'll keep you posted!  Thanks for the help.

Seriel Number stamped in structure above engine

And on the build plate mounted high on the wall above and to the rear of the driver.

MCI built has 5 digit serial numbers in those years, TMC built seems to be different?
