does any one know how much freon a '67 4107 gm should take if it is empty. the manual says 23 pounds but it seems like it is to much. thanks for your help.  Tom

Are you doing the Recharge yourself ?

I'd have someone with a bit of Knowlage about larger AC systems do it ?

Are you sure it has never been Modified ?

23# sounds about right, remember those are HUGE systems compared to your car or window A/C.
