i had some leaks around the shaft on the hydraulic fan pump on my 91 Eagle.  the pump guy said the shaft was shot, none available, so i bought the new one from jefferson.  since i took the old one out, i thought i'd try my hand at putting the new one in.
How much play on the fan belt?
should i put some loctite on the bolts on the hoses, pulleys, or mount?
so far no leaks showing and the fans do seem to be working ok (knock on wood).
any hints for installing this appreciated.  the last time i installed something, i had a group of busnuts around to tell me little hints and helps.  nobody but me and the bus this time.

You may want to replace the pressure line from the fan motor to the rear of the coach (test access line). Mine just failed 90 miles from the nearest parts house. My coach is an 89, so you may have a couple of years left.

where is this test line?  i've got a coach-info copy of the Model 15 manual and it has very little documentation of the hydraulic fans system.  the pump i installed takes care of the A/C compressor fan as well as the large engine fan on the left side of the coach.
what model Eagle do you have?  and thanks for the warning.
