Help with 102DL maintenance manual?

Can I get somebody to look at a page and tell me if it has the edge markings? This is a very specific request and should take less than 5 minutes to do. A bit more if you feel like being very thorough.

I'm referring specifically to the 102DL manual sold from this site on thumb drive. What I would like you to do is open it to one of the electrical or pneumatic schematics, go to the 4 edges of the page and look to see if the reference numbers are there that tell you what page and line to go to in order to follow a wire or air line on to the next page it goes to, so that you can follow one line or wire from one device to the next across several pages. If you are able to do that it's a pretty safe bet that all the drawings are complete. If you can't it's a safe bet they are all bad.

This is only a problem because whoever copied these schematics to put the manual online originally, got sloppy with the schematics and left the edges of the pages off. Maybe the pages were too big for their scanner. There is no way to tell when this happened or how widespread the problem is and Gary doesn't have a copy he can look at to check it. I wouldn't want him to have to pay for a manual he doesn't need, and I don't want him to have to refund $200 to me when he can't backcharge the vendor and get his money back. We've discussed that and weren't able to find a solution except to go to Louisville and buy the manual directly from MCI after inspecting it. I don't know if they even let you do that. For all I know it could be MCI that caused the problem in the first place.

So is there anybody here who has one of these manuals and is familiar enough with schematics to know if those edge markings are there or not, AND is willing to take a quick look? I'd happily do it for one of you guys if anybody asked.

MCI will send you a PDF of the pages MCI didn't do a great job, I had the 2 set for my DL3 the schematics are fold out and they can be hard to follow and they are very much based on the serail numbered, wish I could help but I gave the set away ,I know one guy here has the 2 set for the Dl but I forgot his users name his name is Derrick.FWIW the CD version of manuals are 100% better than the thumb drives I find out
Life is short drink the good wine first

Interesting. Is there a difference in the manuals for the DL and the DL3? I think the site library here only has the DL for sale but mine is a DL3. (1996)

What is different about the thumb drive version and the CD version?

Do you have contact info for where at MCI I could get those PDFs?

Thanks,
Jim
