Who here heads south in their bus during the winter months?  I tend to stay in Southern California, Arizona, then head to a beach in Mexico in the winter, since it's cheaper to keep the bus at a comfortable temperature.  I gave up shoveling and plowing snow many moons ago.

I am always in Quartzite in January and then usually head to Mexico for a month or two when Quartzsite winds down. This year I plan to go to Puerto Penasco with several friends and eat a lot of Mexican Food and drink Margaritas daily.

Who else leaves the cold and snow and heads south for the winter months?

Still kicking around pulling the trigger on migrating south after XMAS. Missed last year.

Would really like to go to Mexico and hang out a while.

Mexico is a good trip and your dollar buys more in Mexico ,don't expect cheaper fuel, the Mexicans cross over to buy fuel in US now,Pemex bought the Shell refinery in Deer Park Texas to easy fuel prices in Mexico

I go to Quartzsite. This will be my third time. I'm making my way there now to connect with other nomads. Q itself is pretty unremarkable, except for the whether, you do it to connect with other nomads. Some of the skoolie crowd in particular have a lot of creative energy!

Been going to Quartzite since the late 1970's when the Southwestern Bus Nuts chapter of the FMCA started having rallies there. Missed a few years. A group of us Firefighters gathered there every January for two decades until 2 years ago. I plan on going this year to the BCRT gathering.

Will miss this year, (last years medical issues) have always enjoyed BCRT group and visiting friends. It also looks like many Canadians are not going this year.

I don't think the Canadians are paying any attention to the politics between the 2 countries, here in Mohave Valley it's business as usual, Gary Hatt and I ate breakfast with 2 friends the Bonanza was packed with Canadians all the RV parks are full here

It s Arizona. Quartzsite is not the real world.
We know many that will no longer pass the line for now.

I'm heading down this month and staying at concha Del Mar campground. it is dry camping but fresh water and honey wagon and propane services are available. There is an unofficial Xcapers meetup there the latter part of February and discounts are offered, something like $13 a day. Plenty of activities as well most days.
