Hey BusNuts,

I'm looking for recommendations on the best roof coating product for my bus conversion. Ideally, I want something that serves a dual purpose:

Seals the roof and prevents leaks
Reflects heat / provides sun insulation to help keep things cooler inside
I've seen a few options out there (elastomeric, silicone, etc.), but I'd love to hear what's worked best for others—especially in hot climates or if you've tested multiple products over the years.

Any personal experiences, product names, or tips for prep/application would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I like Henry's White Tropi-Cool elastomer roof coating.  But not the silicone-based, as I used that once and you cannot paint the curved edges of your bus a different color, and it seems to attract dirt. I carry some with me all the time and touch it up at least once per year.
