That's a crime committed by the marine fuel industry. Its dyed fuel. Its got no road tax on it. It should be cheaper than OTR fuel.

Kind of of hard to find while you are the road. But even if you started out a tank of farm fuel and burned 90% of it, it would still contaminate/be detectable for the next few tanks of regular fuel.

Now if you had an aux tank you could say oh that's for the diesel heater/generator...

Not always supply and demand, Presidents and his department heads control the leasing for the land to explore, they control the permits to drill, they control the pipelines to distribute the oil on federal land.We are paying out billions under Biden for sign leases he wouldn't issue permits to drill even the Indians are pissed at some of the crap. Why do think Texas has so much oil drilling and production it because they don't deal with the federal government BS all the wells are on private land and the US government has no say, expect for some boundaries in the Gulf of Mexico .The private producers in west Texas can sell their oil to any country that doesn't have a embargo, they sell to Mexico and sell a lot to refineries owned by Isarel in Big Spring Texas, they refine the oil into fuel and ship it out keeping just enough to take care of the few stations they own in West Texas, same deal with Citco owned by Venezuela and those are counted in the supply but never stay here. The rig count drops every month so the price will stay high for a while longer.Biden will never refill our SPR he lied and let the opportunity pass when the price was in the range he said he would replace the oil.Ok that enough for F/B too

Lot of stations in rural areas of Texas and AZ have off road diesel pumps, I filled at one by mistake in Strawberry AZ ,the owner was a Chevron dealer, I ask what do you want to do,he said pay me and drive on you have a diesel generator and heat lol they probably owe you

We sold the hole in the ocean and bought a trailerable hole in the water which so far has only seen freshwater.

I once put dyed diesel in the frenchy bus by accident. Apparently in Montana you can just buy it which is completely different than what I'm used to.  By the time I realized what I was doing I had 50 gallons in so I just finished filling the tank. Many tanks later - like 6 months later - I was doing some work on the Proheat and I could still see traces of red in the fuel.  That dye is good stuff.  I've never been dipped but I've never really pushed the farm fuel thing either. When I first had my license I had a Fiat 850 Sport Coupe.  It only held 6 gallons. I used to put purple gas in clear glass jugs out in the sunlight. They'd bleach out in a few days but that would be a lot of screwing around if you were burning much gas.

Our prices in Ga are about like Dave5cs. I love driving my bus, but we only take about 4 big trips a year. We plan 5 trips this coming year. Fuel price is not a showstopper. My wife and I are not rolling in it, but we have a motto (me 66 she 56) that life is not a rehearsal. You can't take it with you, you can't come back and get it. Live a little before you can't! If you need to stress about fuel prices, stay home and be happy?
We didn't buy this bus to park it. Get it on the road, listen to some music, and watch the world go by. Good medicine for the soul, and you won't even think about politics.

We always did 10 to 15,000 miles a year,1 year we left home fuel was $1.00 a gallon coming back we paid as high as $5.00 a gallon that is how fast fuel can change in price. Fuel is not the biggest issue with converted buses, full timers can come out fairly good on a conversion, using one for 3 or trips a year can get expensive in the long run, lot of buses for sale now. With the wife's health we decided to sell our Country Coach, so I sent it to Phoenix to a dealer, I spent $8000.00 for tires and $4000.00 for batteries for a rig that has set for over a year. I did the math insurance cost me $2500.00 a year plus license plates were $800.00 year over $300.00 a month for something setting, it is out of my sight and still cost me the $3500.00 yesterday for insurance and plates lol, The dealer keeps trying to trade me a  Prevost Angola conversion with 2 slides and I keep telling him I don't need a 45 ft bus conversion if I wanted that I would keep my Country Coach. The older you get some things are just not that important anymore

All the tow services in this area have portable diesel generators for charging EV's,we don't have  any charging stations I have saw on the AZ side Mohave Valley,Fort Mohave or Bullhead City but Needles CA have charging stations every where, lol even one of the pot shops there is installing a charging station.I saw a experimental EV deck boat at one of the stations that should work out good
