6V92 oil leak

We have a 1984 MCI MC9 that we use in our church to transport the members to different church activities, but have a problem that has puzzled me for sometime, and I need help.
The bus has a 6V92 turbo engine and it has a big oil leak coming from the top of the engine, I removed the turbo and blower three times trying to locate the leak to no avail, this last time I removed the blower and found a tube on the back that connects the head to the crankcase?? On top of the V, and it has a hose that is cracked, but to me ,it is only a breather, and I am hesitant to put everything back together because the last defeats on solving the problem. The oil leak is big and it floods everything around the blower and leaks down on the and the front making a big mess on the floor by the time air pressure is reached to release the brakes, and I want to say it leaks about 1 gallon for every 300 miles, and I am not sure there is that much oil going through that tube.

Make sure the dipstick is not letting oil blow by it..

If the rings are bad, compression will "blow by" the rings and out any orfice, including the dipstick tube.  If that is the problem, you cant seal it, because it will just leak out somewhere lese.  All you can do is rebuild it, if that is the problem.

I had a leak in the same place that I chased for a long time. If I understand where you are talking about this is a crossover pipe that goes between the heads and on my Eagle, goes underneath the blower drive. This does contain oil and I would replace the hose. Mine was just loose hose clamps and I was able to tighten them and stop the leak.

I sure hope Tom's solution fixes your leak. I'm sure it's frustrating to have tried to fix it a couple times allready.
