Some guy I know named Clifford, who lives in the south, and has some experience with heavy equipment and buses, recommended that I buy this Tire Protection "system" for my bus tires.

It doesn't shine your tires like Diesel Fuel does, it leaves a bit of a matt-like finish, but it sure does make your rubber look pretty.

I have heard some tire coatings you can buy are not even good for your tires, but this stuff is supposed to not only make your tires look nice, but will protect them from the hot sun, especially for those that live south of the Mason-Dixon line, and it may also make them last longer and prevent them from weather cracking.

One warning, be careful applying the cleaner solution as it will mess up your shiny rims really bad!!!  I had to scrub my tires with about 6 applications of the cleaner before I felt they were ready for the protectant, and my tires were relatively new, and it is hard to keep it from splashing on the wheels.

The instructions say to scrub them until the yellow mucus is gone or something like that.  That took several applications and there was still some coming out.

Cliff brags so much about this product that, I am even considering putting it on my Dozer's tracks next.

Would it be good for the "Tip-Toe" wheels on my brother's Hart-Parr?

I saw it on the Internet. It MUST be true...

Might as well use tire shine. Just spray it on and let it drip off.
Actually NO products are to be used on sidewalls except soap and water.

The cleaner for the stuff is nasty but you only need to do it one time.A Michelin factory rep put me on to it several years ago,and Cat treated the tires on my 621 scraper with it when they delivered it new.I use 303 on our cars it is easier for me.The $$$$ 315 x22.5's get the dura coat once a year and you can spray it off with a hose and looks it new again and it does not attract dust or dirt.Dura -Coat is popular with the car collectors here in this dust.303 is good product though IMO

Formula 303 Protectant was originally developed by NASA for use on the Space Shuttle.

Don't those tiles, I mean tires stay inside in outer space where the UV rays are? Maybe that 303 is supposed to protect againsdt vacuum. Don't get all that much vacuum down here.
