A Toterhome is a big truck with an oversized "sleeper" to pull a big 5th wheel. What you see there is a Super C Motorhome.

I conversed with a guy parked next to me with a Kingsley coach while in a park in Tucson in the winter. It was a big one. He sold his prevost to get it because his wife wanted slides. He liked the extra room but missed the ride of the bus. It was a beautiful super C.
He was of the type that didn't care of the ease of access to the truck engine because he didn't work on it.  He preferred the prevost.
If I didn't pull my own wrenches I would feel the same way.
Regardless, those super C rigs look really nice

Having sold our 1991 Prevost XL  last fall, we are looking at the Super C's but don't want the DEF crap. Probably go back to Newer Prevost's without DEF/DPF and away from the 2 Strokes as it's getting harder and harder to find anyone down Texas way to work on them. Stewart Stevenson Detroit/San Antonio Tx. had the last down this way but think the Old fella retired. He was a good one.

Head for the gulf there's going to be lots of boats running them for years to come...

Texas is giving grants to fishing boat owners to make the 2 stroke die in peace, they were making reefs with the old engines and stopped because with no oil they still left a film on the  water

You ever been down this way?? Yeah ask them if they will work on a Bus. They say "Pull it out" and a lot will work on them. Inside frame or in the bus ,, NOPE!

very few want to work on any coach engine. since it mostly requires pulling the engine, much more lucrative to work on regular trucks. I cant blame them.

Agree, it's a simple business decision to invest in skilling mechanics on vehicles that are the mainstream. I don't have specific numbers but it would be reasonably safe to say the number of OTR coaches is a lot less than all the front engine tractors used for hauling supplies and powering toterhomes, a tiny group for sure but using same chassis, etc.
There are a lot of school buses but they are more like typical tractors than the pusher diesel OTR coaches.

In front mount engines - does that engine have to be pulled up & over or is there some that cradle to come straight forward? As in diesel pushers. (Straight out the back)

On front engine, take off the hood, take off the radiator, slide the engine and transmission out. Good Luck, TomC
