Does anyone have pictures or a diagram of how the throttle and throttle position sensor cables are hooked up on a MC9 8V92T non DDEC HT740?

Don't have a MCI if that mattered but on mine there is no cable from the engine to the transmission that I know of.
Build back better not working we need to make American great again. Lets go Brandon!

A friend of mine had that set up and the modulator was controlled by a solenoid that allowed air to the modulator when a switch on the throttle pedal closed. The pedal had to be almost to the floor to close the switch.

Using the air modulator with the MCI setup can be a real pain.I use the cable modulator from the transmission to the throttle it makes life a little less stressful,I have no idea what MCI thought that setup would accomplish

Thanks for everyone's reply but I don't know how it was originally connected and need a picture to reference to hook it back up.  :-\

Must be a transplant engine I cannot find that setup in my 1982 MCI 9 manuals with a 8v92 engine

Not surprised, it was a Greyhound before a professional conversion in Florida (Sundance) back in the early 90's.

I assumed he had an electronic engine when he said throttle position sensor etc. My friend had a DDECIV engine with a hydraulic trans. As there was no physical throttle on top of a governor the switch was the only way to modulate the trans.

MCI used those on non DDEC engines too,Van's Prevost with the DDEC engine has one with a 754 Allison non electronic transmission
