When i raised the roof i had to cut some of the wiring that went to the marker lights and other stuff that i am just moving to different places. My question is  is this just automotive wire or is it a different grade of wire? It looks like automotive wire just want to be sure Thanks Robert

Yes, automotive wire os Ok for 12 volt and 24 volt wiring. I would not use it for 120 volt. WayteK wire (www.waytekwire.com), Del City (www.delcity.net), and RonThe Busnut (www.ronthebusnut.com) all have pretty good wire color assortments. Remember to use a large enough gauge wire to prevent voltage drop or overloading.  Jack

I would recommend that whatever wire you select that it be multi-stranded tinned copper. Some of the wire sold at places like Pep Boys is just bare copper wire without the tinning. The tin prevents the copper from corroding. From waaaaay back it seems like the UL standard is UL1019.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, a good Reisling in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming:  WOO HOO, what a ride
