Nice find Dave! Same color as our 09. The comfort was night & day between our Basic CJ5 soft top and the current Grand Cherokee! Great upgrade!

What I plan to tow. I have a hitch for towing '4 Down' but I'd like to find about a 16' enclosed trailer so I can have a "play pen" to "create in" when I am stopped.

Nice Chaz. "Meyers Manks" IIRC. We built two of those back in the 70's. :^

@Dan yep much more comfortable and a heck of a lot faster with the 6, 4.0 and A/C. The 60th Anniversary edition only came in Silver or Black and 16" wheels.

My plan is to find a quad SxS that I can make fit in the center storage bay. One of the 50's would be narrow enough. The Honda Pioneer 500 is OK on length. The height will need some work. Last week at Townsend I saw one made for or by an outfit in Pigeon Forge that would also work, it was 2wd. Still looking around, I'm not happy with the prices I've seen so far but there's a motorcycle junkyard not far away I've been meaning to visit.

I saw it on the Internet. It MUST be true...

If authentic Meyers Manx - sell it on BAT. They are commanding insane prices these days.

Dave, we've had our 1999 Cherokee Sport for 10-12 years.  I find it to be a good toad and generally a good dependable vehicle.  We just had it painted about a month ago.  I'm really cheap, so you can imagine what it must have looked like to move me to action.  I'm even considering replacing the headliner.  The only thing that sometimes bothers me about it is the rough leaf spring ride on long trips.  We bought a fancy 2002 Grand Cherokee to address that problem.  I had originally thought to use the 2002 GC as a toad but could not bring myself to give up the '99 Sport.  I don't know anyone that is unhappy with them.

01 Jeep Wrangler TJ for 5-6 years. Great towed. Light. Use it to get around. Great for off-roading. Also will go down the free way at 70 mph.

Looks like a great deal. And you can use it around the farm!
When we were full time we towed a stick shift Subaru Baja. Towed great, easy to hook up, could toss the dogs in the back when driving the car around. We had to get it worked on once and had a trip planned. When we got to our destination, Rita had Alamo bring us a car for the 5 days there seeing the sites. Fun to hand them the keys at the end and drive the bus without looking at the rear view camera all the time. With TPMS much of that worry is gone, but we still might go that route if we only take the bus on 5 or 6 trips a year. I do worry about not having a life boat if we break down but renting 5 times a year looks cheap.
Best of luck with your new addition. Sounds ready to hook up and go
