In N. Dakota now. Nice that fuel prices are at 3.10 to 3.20. 3.20 to 3.40 in Montana.
Saw two Prevosts yesterday on I94. One all black, other all white with ss bottom. Glad we got out of Ca. when we did. Looks like it's mostly burning to the ground. Pretty smokey when we went through Tahoe. Saw the worlds largest Holstein yesterday evening.lol
about 7:00 last evening, passed a nice utility/refrigerator cart lying on the berm along with a piece of shredded ratchet strap. Quickly pulled off and walked back and retrieved it. Some scratches, but otherwise in nice condition.

A year ago when we bought our house in Nampa, Idaho, regular gas was $1.999 at the Walmart. It is $3.859 today. Good Luck, TomC

In Idaho fuel is always higher because John Jackson (Jackson Food Stores) owns all the oil distributors in the valley he has a large tank farm on Orchard and Emerald. The Maverick owned by the Call  family former owners of Flying J gives you a little break here but not much lol I don't care for the 4 bucks a gal diesel here in Boise but I like  the cool days and nights

I am heading west with my bus in two weeks.  I was checking fuel prices along the route using Gas Buddy and I noticed that diesel prices start to get really high once you cross into Wyoming.  Cheyenne, Wyoming is mostly $3.39 and up.  It gets up to $3.79 by the time you hit Rock Springs.  Reno, Nevada is $4 and up.  A Costco and a Sam's Club in Lincoln, NE are both at $2.73 while everywhere else is $3.19.  The problem is it takes two to three gallons to detour off I-80 to Sam's Club.

Minnesota is $3.09 to $3.19.  This will be the most expensive trip fuel wise in a number of years.  The cost will be at least 50% more than last year.

Dakota are both decent. do the math before you drive far to get cheapest price. mpg vs distance travelled. how much fuel burned and cost vs money saved. Of course, the more fuel added, better chance of saving significant money. We're  in a pickup, so we usually only add 25 to 30 gallons average. I have 4 Def jugs, so am filling them at truck islands. that price/ gal varies quite a bit also, but much cheaper than even Walmart.

First time I saw this at fuel pump last night. in Mitchell S.D.
Oh, and Corn Palace was nice.

been using gas buddy. works good. Although a few stations sold that bio crap and went to another one. don't want to risk any issues on the Duramax. I want to get the card. 25 cents off per, but am away from home to get card. Yesterday got fuel across from truck stop the fuel price difference was 3.05 vs 3.76. don't  know how much tsd would have saved there.

Sometimes it's important to pay attention to the tax situation - we're in Ohio right now and about to head to Pennsylvania. Tax per gallon will jump about $0.20 once we cross the line. We'll fill up before leaving Ohio. TSD's app is showing a truck stop at $3.18 right now, about $3.75 on the PA side.
