MC5B rear bumper removal

Any suggestions on the procedure to remove the rear bumper of my MC5B? I think I should be able to access the fasteners between the inner and outer sections to unbolt it from the frame but its beaten together. I may have to pry and wedge it apart for access. Any ideas?

Any prying you do, that will change access,  will likely bend it.

Plan for having to straighten it out again.

They lead a rough life, takes some rough behaviour to get them off.
