Hey all,

Front wheels are off my MC5.  I've noticed lately that this valve is leaking air from the bottom where the pull cable is attached.  What am I looking at here?  Can I replace the bottom seal that is leaking or does the whole thing need to be replaced?

Thanks,
Jed

Just replace it. Not that costly.New ones come with lanyard attached. 1/4 npt. Just measure your old lanyard length. I had one on our 4104 that developed a pinhole in the ball. Available on Amazon with 60" lanyard. NAPA, Ebay, maybe truck stops.

Remove the drain, that the cable is attached to, and take it to your local heavy truck parts place for a replacement.

Screw it back in and good for another 53 years...

Happy coaching!

There is a string filter inside that spaceship looking thing. It is an airbag system filter. Luke used to have them on the shelf. those two pieces separate and the filter is inside.
