8v71 blower types ?

In the 8v71 manuals there are two types of blowers: large bearing and small bearing.

Does anyone know how to tell them apart when installed and why would anyone care
which version they have?

Large bearing  blowers are on turbo engines the small bearing blowers are standard on the N/A engines unless they been changed,you can tell by measuring the end housing or the number stamped on the front left hand corner

Then with turbo engines there is a non-bypass blower and there is a blower with a bypass valve.
