I just started working on my bus (inherited 1965 Silver Eagle) . I have started it but I am having problems with not building air enough to turn off the alarm. It seems to stop around 50lbs. This part is leaking air. I took it apart and it seems to be some kind of pressure regulator / bypass. the rubber in the bottom is hard and looks like it needs replaced. I don't know what it is so I can't buy a new one.

Yes it is. I think he is the person that sent me some manual information years ago, When I initially acquired the bus but then life got in the way and I wasn't able to work on it.
