Hey Bus Lovers!

Hope everyone is doing great! Just got WildFlower back from having her wipers converted to electric (very sad but had to be done) and a new air governor. So now I am looking at the next possible big thing for her, a re skin. For those that have done it, 1. How hard is it. 2. How much did you spend doing it? 3. Do I have to gut my interior to reskin my exterior. I look forward to your all's wise counsel.

Hey Tophar! Not to steal away this thread, but where did you have your wipers converted to electric?

Hey Utahclaimjumper,

Well I am seeing bubbling (very small patches) where existing panels meet which is then covered by a thin strip of either metal or fiberglass. That is a sign of rusting. Most buses do not need a reskin and have no signs of rust on the exterior skins. Even though they are very small, I know it will be a bigger problem down the road and might have to do structural repair to her.

Hello Glennman!

I'd be happy to answer that for you. I got mine converted by the good folks at B&C Transportation in Maryville TN. I bought the Autex Conversion kit for my bus.
