Good morning everyone,

First off, Merry Christmas to each and every one of you!!!

I'm sitting here in a recliner with a big ugly line of staples running up my abdomen as a result of a much overdue surgery to remove the mesh in my gut that became infected and eventually led to a fistula at my belly button. It was a tough surgery but I never really felt any pain and it was successful although it was not our best case scenario overall. The bus wasn't gone two weeks and we landed a bunch of new work so we really didn't have to sell our bus after all but I can tell in my heart that it was time.

Minnesota is having a doldrum winter so far... a couple cold spells but over all just a blah winter.

I hope you're all doing well and that you have non-rusted bolts and good running diesels in your garages.

Much love from the Barron's to you and yours!
I will drive my Detroit hard... I will drive my Detroit hard.

I've had staples up my arm before, and I really must say I don't consider them to be ugly. Just consider them to be a friendly zipper that is holding you together. When they take them out, you will find that you don't need anesthetic. They have a tool that grabs them and takes them out with no pain. Happy holiday's, and keep the bus spirit.  ;)
