Sounds really high, even when compared to what I pay at Interstate Power Systems.

Two invoices for comparison:

1) Oil change w/filter, fuel filters, chassis lube, crankcase breather service, tune-up:   $1,814

2) R/R coolant recirculating pump, drain/test/refill cooling system:    $587

Those invoices obviously included more than you're talking about, and the total still comes in far below what you're talking about. There may be a few dollars of other material costs that were included elsewhere on the invoices, but they would only add another few hundred.

Sounds like you need to find another shop to provide a quote.

Richard I have a ISX 600 it takes 15 gals of oil with the reserve tank, the B500 uses Transyd, the Hyd fan takes 20 gals with 3. filters, the Cummins antifreeze is not cheap for 18 gals.I am pricing it out but it is going to cost even if I do it

Oil was included in mine. Coolant was not.

Even if you add the cost of both, still sounds like they plan on spending a long time doing these things. Can you access the "book" for your chassis and see what those service items normally call for?

I already have ,the transmission does not call for service right now but I am going to do it while I am doing it,8 gals of Transyd is expensive ,I kinda miss my Eagle now with the 8v92 and 740

Gee, I guess this would be a bad time to brag about the $75 barrel of Shell 15-40 oil I bought at an estate auction. Covers both the Series 60 & the 741. It sure is rough being cheap.  ::)
